World Youth and Teenage Dancing Contest

The online competition of the World Youth and Teenage Dancing Contest consists of three main sections: basic dancing skills, including body coordination, rhythm perception, basic dance postures (e.g., ballet positions, street dance stances), and knowledge of dance genres; dance culture and creative principles, covering the historical origins of dance forms (e.g., classical dance, hip-hop), cultural symbolism in folk dances, and the impact of social trends on dance evolution; and practical dance application, including choreography interpretation, improvisation, and the use of dance to express ideas in real-life contexts. The competition includes various dance categories, and the difficulty level is tailored to age and experience, with the children's group focusing on foundational techniques and the youth group emphasizing creative expression, thematic interpretation, and problem-solving through movement.
