The online competition of the World Youth and Teenage Art Contest consists of three main sections: basic art skills, including hand-eye coordination, color perception, basic artistic techniques (e.g., sketching strokes, watercolor blending methods), and knowledge of art genres (e.g., oil painting, sculpture, digital art); art culture and creative principles, covering the historical origins of art forms (e.g., Renaissance painting, contemporary street art), cultural symbolism in folk art (e.g., meanings of patterns in traditional embroidery), and the impact of social trends on art evolution; and practical art application, including artwork interpretation, improvisational creation (e.g., sketching a scene on the spot), and the use of art to express ideas in real-life contexts (e.g., conveying environmental awareness through a mural). The competition includes various art categories, and the difficulty level is tailored to age and experience, with the children's group focusing on foundational techniques (e.g., basic coloring, simple composition) and the youth group emphasizing creative expression (e.g., unique style development), thematic interpretation (e.g., exploring social issues through artwork), and problem-solving through artistic creation (e.g., choosing appropriate materials to convey a message).

Presentation: Artworks should be presented in a way that suits the genre (e.g., framed or matted for traditional paintings, mounted on a neutral background for sculptures, with proper lighting to avoid glare).

Device/Tools: Use a stable camera or scanner to capture physical artworks, ensuring accurate color reproduction, sharp details, and full visibility of the entire piece (including edges for context). For digital art, submit the original high-resolution file.
