2026 World Youth and Teenage Integrated Cellular Biology Contest – Season 1 comprises three core modules:Foundational Cell Biology Knowledge: Core cell structures and physiological functions, fundamental principles of cellular life activities, as well as classic cell biology theories and representative experimental models;Cell Biology Thinking and Scientific Logic Principles: Covering the evolution of scientific inquiry methods, the integration of cell biology models with real-world life science scenarios, and the application of scientific logical reasoning;Practical Cell Biology Application: Involving the standardized use of common experimental tools and techniques for cell biology, simulation-based analysis of real-world life science problems, and the application of cell biology knowledge in daily life and frontier fields.
The contest features diverse question types, with difficulty tiered by participants’ ages and prior academic knowledge base. For the junior age group, the assessment focuses on mastery of foundational cell biology and basic scientific cognitive skills; for the senior age group, the assessment emphasizes the application of cell biology thinking and complex scientific problem-solving abilities.

Category:
Participants select the corresponding tier independently based on question difficulty.
Registration:
Complete registration by the deadline and finish the exam within the specified time via the exam link（The exam link will be sent via WhatsApp/Email.）; a confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.
Format:
Online exam with multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank and short-answer questions. Computers are recommended; mobile devices are permitted with limited functionality. Strictly abide by academic integrity; screen switching, impersonation and external assistance are prohibited.
Rules:
Exam duration is 30-45 minutes (tier-dependent). Answers auto-submit on timeout and only one submission is allowed per participant.
Content:
Assesses foundational knowledge and advanced problem-solving abilities.
Results:
For fairness, results are not released immediately. Final rankings will be notified via email/WhatsApp and published on the association's official website.
Exam Scope：
1. Foundational Cellular Biology Cognition
Assesses core knowledge of cellular structure, cellular physiology and cellular life activity laws, as well as the application of classic cytological theories and representative experimental models in scientific problem-solving.
2. Cellular Biological Laws & Theoretical Principles Explores the core laws of cellular life activity operation logic, biological model construction and scientific thinking methods, and analyzes the adaptation principles of cellular biology theories.
3. Cellular Biology Practice & Application
Masters practical abilities of cellular biology experimental tool operation and basic scientific task handling; interprets experimental data, evaluates research solutions and formulates problem-solving plans combined with real-life life science scenarios, and conducts basic biological analysis.
4、Question Types & Difficulty Levels
Diverse question types including multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, experimental analysis and short-answer questions; difficulty is tiered by age group, with the basic group focusing on memorization and simple application, and the advanced group emphasizing in-depth theoretical understanding and complex scientific problem-solving ability.

The deadline for award applications is two weeks after the announcement of the results.
All awards will be mailed within eight weeks after the application deadline.

For participants in Hong Kong and Taiwan, the shipping fee for the awards ranges from approximately HKD$30 to HKD$80. The shipping fee will be paid by you to the logistics company upon receipt of the goods.
For participants in all other regions, shipping is prepaid, and the shipping fee will be collected together with the award fee.
All losses caused by incorrect recipient information or the recipient's own reasons (refusal of acceptance, failure to answer calls promptly, etc.) shall be borne by the recipient.
